Project L.I.F.E.was founded in 2014 through CKB Community Economic Development CKBCED.org as a non-profit community development corporation by Denise Christopher, a lifetime resident of Denver’s Clayton Neighborhood and owner of CKB Enterprises, Inc. Project L.I.F.E.’s mission is to end the cycle of poverty among Clayton community residents and to create economic opportunity through employment services, small business development, economic development ventures, adult education, and affordable housing. The vision of its founder is to build on the success of her business to restore a sense of self-determination and economic and social vitality throughout the community in which she was born and raised.
